The agreement between you and us when you use SouthLet.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
SouthLet is provided by Company legal name: [TO BE CONFIRMED], Registered address: [TO BE CONFIRMED], Company number: [TO BE CONFIRMED]. These bracketed details must be completed before launch; we have not invented them.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
SouthLet helps you keep a private record of your home — rooms, appliances, manuals, receipts, warranties, maintenance history and reminders — and helps you find and replace things later. It is a record-keeping and convenience tool.
It is not a survey, valuation, inspection, insurance policy, legal advice, energy assessment, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
Where we show spare parts or replacement products, listings, prices and availability come from third-party retailers and may be out of date or wrong. We do not sell them and are not party to your purchase. Check that a part fits your exact model before buying.
We aim to keep SouthLet available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we will avoid removing your data without notice. Keep your own copies of anything critical — Settings includes an export.
Nothing about the following has been agreed, so we make no statement about any of it. Each must be confirmed before any paid feature is offered:
If we introduce charges we will set out the price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms and your statutory cancellation rights before you pay anything.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we log authorisation failures for security.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. If you use SouthLet as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on AI output, estimated measurements, third-party listings, or public property data; for loss of data where you have not kept your own copy; or for indirect or consequential loss.
We may update these terms as the app changes. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
