Cookies & storage

SouthLet uses no advertising, marketing or analytics cookies. This is the full list of what it stores on your device.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner is required for cookies and storage that are not strictly necessary and that track you — advertising, marketing and analytics. SouthLet does not load any of those. Everything below either keeps you signed in, makes the app work offline, or remembers a preference such as light or dark mode.

If analytics or marketing technology is added in future, a consent control will be added before it loads, and this page will be updated.

What we store

Supabase auth session (sb-*-auth-token)

Local storage · Strictly necessary

Keeps you signed in. Cleared when you sign out.

hp-theme

Local storage · Functional

Remembers light/dark appearance. Kept after sign-out because it contains nothing personal.

southlet-query-cache

Local storage · Functional

Caches non-sensitive screens so the app opens quickly and works offline. Cleared on sign-out.

southlet-install-dismissed

Local storage · Functional

Remembers that you dismissed the “add to home screen” prompt.

sidebar_state

Cookie · Functional

Remembers whether the desktop sidebar is open. No personal data.

Workbox / offline caches

Service worker cache · Strictly necessary

Stores the app shell, fonts and icons so the app loads offline. Your records and files are never cached here.

Signing out on a shared device

Signing out clears your session, your cached screens and anything else tied to your account. Neutral preferences such as your light/dark choice stay, because they say nothing about you or your home.

Clearing storage yourself

You can clear cookies and site data for SouthLet in your browser or phone settings at any time. Doing so signs you out and removes the offline cache; your home record stays safe in your account.

More detail on information handling is in our Privacy Notice.
